Amidst high vulnerability in the global investment sentiment and the worst stock market crash seen after 2020, Rolex has managed to put up a strong game. So much, that Rolex has reportedly outperformed other assets like gold, real estate, and even luxury watches of a higher price segment like Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe.

Word is, the value explosion is more prominent in timepieces like the Daytona Ref. 116506 in platinum and the Day-Date Ref. 228235 in rose gold. The resale value for these watches has been recorded to soar up to a whopping 30 and 52 percent respectively.

The Submariner (ranking highest in popularity with record sales) and Datejust collections along with GMT-Master II, Sky-Dweller, and Sea-Dweller have also seen a price rise like never before to the tune of about 20%.

Dealers and experts from the industry maintain that this might be a historic time for the brand as much as it is for its collectors, because the moment you own a Rolex and walk out of the showroom, chances are, your investment doubles or triples its initial value.
